Sorry for posting the same question again, but it seems that it was overlooked. (which is understandable.)

I also have the same question. Are we allowed to display fanart so long as we aren't selling it?
I just want to put it there to use as commission samples.

Thanks!

As this is the first year doing no fan art, I am gonna say to just leave the stuff at home. Not that I am not a trusting person, but it would be too easy for someone to just "say" its for display only and be selling it as we can't be everywhere at once. It's just less messy to not have it there at all.

Sorry for the over look/delay in answering, usual stuff.. too much to do, not enough of me to go around.

Thanks

Sorry for continuing this further, but I'm curious. How would this be regulated with sketchbooks? As in, if there were a sketchbook on display at the table, would all fanart pieces have to be removed or covered up?

Once again, leave the fan art at home. If your talking about one of the bound leather sketch books, I would say leave the entire thing at home as I wouldn't suggest having one of those on display in the first place. Having done many conventions for many years, something like that would be too easy for someone to accidentally ruin. Just not something I would like to see happen. Display items should be sturdier and more easily reproduced in case anything happens.

Are there any rules against raffles of our own merchandise?

Maybe this was already mentioned elsewhere, but when is the due date for signing up for the artists' alley?

I'm pretty sure raffles that aren't for charity are illegal in Ohio.

I think Rae Rae is right. However it is against the rules we have set forth as well. If you read through the rules in the stickies [RULES] of this section it normally answers all of these types of questions.

As for a due date, we were so busy setting up the new process it seems we have forgotten to set one. I would say the sooner the better as we have a lot of applicants to go through and if you wait too long the best you would get is to be put on the wait list.
